Das Objekt vor dem Erweiterungsbau der Linzer Tabakfabrik stand an einer verkehrsreichen Kreuzung und war auf diese urbane Situation hin ausgerichtet. Gleichzeitig bildete es einen Dialog mit der skulptural ausgeprägten Heizanlage im Zentrum der Fabriksanlage, die nach Plänen von Peter Behrens 1929 bis 1935 errichtet wurde.

The object in front of the extension to the tobacco factory in Linz stood at a busy intersection and was designed to fit into this urban setting. At the same time, it formed a dialogue with the sculpturally distinctive heating system at the center of the factory complex, which was built between 1929 and 1935 according to plans by Peter Behrens.
