Plan gewährt einen besonderen Einblick in die Atmosphäre von drei Architekturbüros in Peking. Der Film zeigt Nahaufnahmen von Menschen mit deren Gesten, die in enger Beziehung mit Geräten, Computerprogrammen und den stringenten räumlichen Bedingungen in ihre Arbeit versunken sind. Interne Besprechungen und Diskussionen mit Klienten werden bis in Details beobachtet und miniaturhafte Narrationen entwickelt. Zusammen mit den Innenraumgeräuschen, der Fremdheit der Sprache und dem Sound der Stadt wird eine ambivalente, räumlich-kulturelle Verortung des Geschehens vermittelt.

Plan provides an unique insight into the atmosphere of three architectural firms in Beijing. The film shows close-ups of people and their gestures, immersed in their works in stringent spatial conditions and in tight connection with devices and computer programs. Internal meetings and discussions with clients are observed in detail while miniature narratives are developed. Together with the interior sounds, the foreignness of the language and the sound of the city, an ambivalent spatial-cultural localization of the events is conveyed.
